Who we are
PJ's Cactus Lodge is a small cactus shop run by Josh in Lexington, Missouri. For any privacy question, email [email protected]. We don't list a phone number on this page.
What we collect and why
When you tap "Reserve this plant," we store your name, email, an optional note, which plant you want, and the time you asked. That's so we can hold the plant for 24 hours, email you how to pay, and let Josh confirm the sale. If a hold isn't paid in time, it releases itself automatically. We keep the record afterward as part of Josh's order history.
Basic technical logs (like your IP address and browser type) may pass through Cloudflare, the service that runs our site, for security and to stop abuse. Anything we use to rate-limit requests is hashed first — we don't build profiles on visitors.
Payment
We never see or store your card or bank details. Payment happens directly between you and Josh through apps like Venmo, Cash App, or Zelle. Those services have their own privacy policies — this page only covers pjscactuslodge.com.
Hosting and email
The site runs on Cloudflare (Pages, with a Cloudflare D1 database), served from Cloudflare's US-based and global network. Confirmation and reservation emails are sent through Resend from [email protected]; replies go straight to [email protected].
Cookies and tracking
Shoppers get no cookies. The only cookie on this site signs Josh into his owner desk — it's not set for regular visitors. We don't run analytics, ad pixels, or any third-party trackers.
Email list
The "Lodge letters" email signup isn't turned on yet. When it is, it will be double opt-in (you confirm before anything is sent) and every email will have an unsubscribe link.
Your choices
Email [email protected] to see, correct, or delete the details behind a reservation. We'll get back to you within a few days. Unpaid holds are already released automatically.
Children's privacy
This shop is meant for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If this notice changes, we'll update the date at the top.
